Cornerstone Scoopers – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to services provided by Cornerstone Scoopers LLC (“Cornerstone Scoopers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By scheduling or purchasing service, the customer agrees to these Terms.

1. Our Service

Cornerstone Scoopers provides residential pet waste cleanup services. We remove pet waste from the designated service areas of the customer's property.

Unless otherwise agreed, collected pet waste will be securely bagged and placed in the customer's outdoor trash receptacle. Cornerstone Scoopers does not haul pet waste away from the property.

Service is limited to reasonably accessible outdoor areas identified by the customer.

2. Recurring Service

Recurring service may be scheduled weekly, every other week, or monthly, depending on the service plan selected.

Monthly service means one service visit per calendar month.

Recurring service continues until canceled by the customer or Cornerstone Scoopers in accordance with these Terms.

Service days and approximate arrival times may change because of weather, holidays, route changes, staffing, or other circumstances.

3. Initial & Excessive Cleanup

Regular recurring-service pricing assumes a normal amount of accumulated pet waste for the number of dogs and service frequency provided by the customer.

Quotes are based on the information available at the time they are provided and are accurate in most cases. However, pricing is not final until the service area has been inspected during the first visit. If the condition, size, accumulation of pet waste, or other circumstances of the property require a change in the quoted price, Cornerstone Scoopers will notify the customer of the revised price before beginning service.

If a property has excessive accumulation, unusually difficult conditions, or substantially more waste than reasonably expected, an additional cleanup charge may apply. We will notify the customer before performing work that will result in an additional charge whenever reasonably possible.

4. Property Access

The customer is responsible for making sure the service area is accessible on the scheduled service day.

Gates must be unlocked or Cornerstone Scoopers must be provided with an appropriate means of entry.

If we cannot access the service area because of a locked gate, blocked entrance, aggressive or unsecured animal, or another condition within the customer's control, the visit may be considered a completed service visit and the regular charge may still apply.

Customers are responsible for keeping gates, fences, latches, and other property features in safe working condition.

5. Dogs & Other Animals

Dogs may remain outside during service only if they are friendly and can safely be around our service provider.

Cornerstone Scoopers reserves the right to require any animal to be secured before service or to leave a property without completing service if an animal behaves aggressively or creates a safety concern.

The customer is responsible for accurately informing us about any animal with a history of aggression, biting, guarding, or other behavior that could create a safety risk.

6. Yard Conditions

We make every reasonable effort to locate and remove visible pet waste. However, complete removal cannot be guaranteed when waste is concealed by tall grass, leaves, snow, standing water, heavy vegetation, debris, or other conditions.

The customer is responsible for maintaining the service area sufficiently for pet waste to be reasonably visible and accessible.

7. Equipment Sanitation & Cross-Contamination

Cornerstone Scoopers takes reasonable precautions to help prevent the spread of germs, bacteria, and other contaminants between properties.

Service tools and equipment that come into contact with pet waste or service areas will be treated with a kennel-grade disinfectant between properties. We follow appropriate disinfectant use and contact-time instructions to help reduce the risk of cross-contamination from one customer's property to another.

While these sanitation practices are intended to reduce the risk of spreading contaminants, no sanitation procedure can guarantee the complete elimination of all bacteria, viruses, parasites, or other microorganisms.

8. Weather

Cornerstone Scoopers works in many normal weather conditions. Service may be delayed, rescheduled, or skipped when conditions make service unsafe or impractical, including severe storms, lightning, extreme temperatures, snow or ice accumulation, flooding, or other hazardous conditions.

When service is delayed or rescheduled, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers.

In the event that severe weather or unsafe conditions prevent service for an entire scheduled week, such as during a significant snowstorm or blizzard, that week's service may be skipped rather than rescheduled. The customer's regular charge will still apply. At the customer's next regularly scheduled visit, Cornerstone Scoopers will clean up the accumulated pet waste from the skipped service period at no additional charge. This means the customer receives the full cleanup they paid for, even though the service is completed during the following visit rather than through a separate make-up visit.

9. Holidays & Scheduling

Because recurring service is route-based, Cornerstone Scoopers does not guarantee a specific arrival time.

Holiday schedules, weather, route changes, or other operational circumstances may occasionally require us to provide service on a different day.

10. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information regarding the number of dogs regularly using the property.

  • Inform us if the number of dogs changes.

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the service area.

  • Maintain the property so that service can be performed safely.

  • Inform us of known hazards, aggressive animals, broken gates, unsafe structures, holes, hidden objects, or other conditions that could affect service.

  • Maintain an accessible outdoor trash receptacle for disposal of bagged pet waste unless another arrangement has been approved.

11. Payment

All recurring-service payments for Cornerstone Scoopers are processed exclusively through Sweep&Go. Customers are required to maintain a valid credit card on file with Sweep&Go in order to receive recurring service.

All recurring services are prepaid. Payment must be successfully processed through Sweep&Go before service is provided.

Recurring weekly service is priced using a 52-week year, averaged into 12 equal monthly payments. Because some months contain five scheduled service weeks rather than four, customers will not be charged an additional amount for a fifth weekly visit. The cost of those visits is already included in the monthly rate.

When a customer first adds a debit or credit card to the online payment portal, a temporary $1.50 test authorization may appear to verify the card. This is not an actual charge, and no money is withdrawn from the customer's account as a result of the authorization.

One-time cleanups may be paid by credit card through Sweep&Go or by cash. Cash is offered as an additional payment option for one-time cleanups only and is not available for recurring service.

If payment is declined or remains unpaid, service may be suspended until the account is brought current.

Prices may change from time to time. Customers with recurring service will be notified before a new recurring rate takes effect.

12. Skipping or Pausing Service

Customers should notify Cornerstone Scoopers in advance if service will not be needed because of vacation, construction, temporary relocation of pets, or another reason.

When an extended period between cleanups results in additional accumulated waste, an additional cleanup charge may apply when service resumes.

Customers who pause recurring service for any reason may be subject to an initial cleanup fee before recurring service is resumed, depending on the amount of pet waste that has accumulated during the pause.

13. Cancellation

Recurring service does not require a long-term commitment and may be canceled by the customer at any time, for any reason, by contacting Cornerstone Scoopers.

Cancellation must be received before the customer's next scheduled service to prevent that visit from being performed and charged.

If a customer cancels after prepaying for services that have not yet been provided, the customer will receive a prorated refund for any remaining unused prepaid services. The refund will be processed through Sweep&Go and returned to the credit card on file.

Cornerstone Scoopers may discontinue service for nonpayment, repeated access problems, unsafe property conditions, aggressive animals, abusive or inappropriate conduct, or other circumstances that make continued service unreasonable or unsafe.

14. Satisfaction Concerns

If you believe an area was missed during service, please contact Cornerstone Scoopers promptly. We want the opportunity to review and address legitimate service concerns.

Because pet waste can accumulate again immediately after a completed visit, the presence of pet waste after service does not necessarily mean that it was missed during the visit.

15. Property Damage

Cornerstone Scoopers will exercise reasonable care while on the customer's property.

We are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing, defective, deteriorated, improperly installed, hidden, or unsafe property conditions, including gates, fences, landscaping, irrigation equipment, outdoor fixtures, or other items.

Customers should notify us promptly if they believe damage occurred during service so the circumstances can be reviewed.

16. Service Area

Cornerstone Scoopers reserves the right to determine and modify its geographic service area and route availability.

Moving outside our service area may result in cancellation of recurring service.

17. Communications

By providing a phone number or email address, the customer agrees that Cornerstone Scoopers may contact them regarding appointments, service updates, billing, account matters, and other communications reasonably related to their service.

18. Changes to These Terms

Cornerstone Scoopers may update these Terms as the business or its services change. Material changes affecting recurring customers will be communicated before they take effect when appropriate.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
